SFMM usually isn’t very crowded on New Year’s Day, so it should be a good day to go!
How crowded will Jan. 4th (Friday) be? Also, when would be the best time to leave for the park if it opens at 10:30 and I live 2 hrs away in order to beat the crowds?
I don’t think it will be too crowded. The holiday crowds usually lighten up after New Year’s. It’s best to get to the park at least before noon, so I’d leave before 9am.

Anyone know what the best day to go during the Martin Luther king weekend? I’m sure Monday will be packed?
I actually think Monday will be least crowded. MLK Weekend usually isn’t one of the crazy busy holidays.
Martin Luther King weekend, this upcoming Sunday: packed?
Magic Mountain was so empty last weekend, I really don’t think it will be crowded at all this weekend either. The lines last Sunday were only 5-10min or walk-on.
