Crowd Guide

  1. It should be busy for Spring Break, but I’m thinking it won’t be too packed. A lot of schools will be back in session the next day and SoCal and SoCal Select APs are blocked out that day too.

  2. heading to Disneyland the day before Halloween, which is a Thursday, according to the calendar it looks like it should be good for us. Can anyone else comment on what the lines will be like? also what kind of show can we expect, being the Halloween season, will there be fireworks etc?

  3. Yeah, the last week of October is usually very manageable compared to the rest of October so the lines should be minimal. They have fireworks for the Mickey’s Halloween Party event, which you have to buy a separate ticket for. They haven’t released the dates yet though.

  4. I believe that is the week the Spring Break crowds should start to calm down a little.

  5. Do you guys think that it will be super crowded Monday, 4/14 at Disneyland and Tuesday, 4/15 at CA Adventure? We are planning on going on more of the kiddie rides as we are bringing our 1 year old. Is it the same as going on a Saturday and Sunday or still better? TIA!

  6. I’d be prepared for the parks to be busy that week since that’s when LAUSD is off for Spring Break. I think it will be pretty much the same as going on the weekend. Just try to get there early. The lines are usually more manageable in the morning.

  7. We’re planning to be at DL from Tues. May 13 – Thur. May 15th. Any predictions on crowd levels? We REALLY don’t want to be stuck in hour long lines!

  8. It should be pretty manageable that week! Most of the summer crowds won’t be out yet.

  9. I did read on the website that there might be alternative hours during the Halloween season due to Mickey’s party.
So perhaps it would be likely that the park will close earlier than normal and we will have to re-enter/re-pay to go back in for the night time part of the night, which seems a bit inconvenient? But For me personally, i’d really love to see the fireworks at Disneyland. So perhaps i’ll just have to ‘suck it up’ and pay the special price for the party.
