  1. We are here and it’s busy. it’s packed Disneyland crowd Calendar way off. 50 min for rides. For some reason people are very rude today. Sad to say we wont renew our pass’s this year.

  2. It was very, very crowded today. There were so many rides down for refurbishment and some of the major rides broke during the day (Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain). Star Tours had 2 of the 4 “shuttles” down, so that was extremely slow. It was actually pretty miserable.

  3. I totally agree! Our family does Disneyland every year, sometimes twice for about 20 years now. This is the first visit that i was pretty upset. Some cast members were very rude, a total of 11 ride closures (includes refurbs though) and the crowds were way higher than “ghost town” or “hey, its alright”. We are going back to the parks for the next 3 days, hopefully it gets better and it was just a bad day.

  4. Took my kids for their very first time!! Hoping it would be like the forecast said… But it was super crowded! Also so sad about all the ride closures! A lot of which were main attractions! Characters were few and far between as well and the line to see the Frozen characters was 4 hours long! Ridiculous!! Hopefully the next two days will be better!!

  5. For the first time ever, California Adventure was much preferable to Dland. It was insanely crowded yesterday, given the time of year. As others have said, couple major ride closures (Indy and Pirates were major let downs) and the heat made for lovely smells and cranky people. Fast passes ran out quickly. Beer at California Adventure never tasted so good. We managed a good day but it was no where near a ghost town and pushing a “hey it’s alright” status.

  6. I think Tuesday-Thursday would be a little better.

  7. Was definitely NOT Ghost Town or even Hey it’s Alright yesterday (Monday April 28). It was Yup, It’s Packed. It was hard just to walk around. All of the ride closures made matters worse, increasing the line times for everything else. We planned a big extended family trip around the crowd prediction calendar and were pretty disappointed.

  8. Disneyland has several rides closed for refurbishment so the lines for the rides that are open are very long. Fantasyland is especially crowded.

  9. I would suggest going to other parks (Universal, Knott’s) until Disneyland gets their act together. I’ve never been to DL when there are SO MANY rides closed at the same time, including major attractions. Everyone goes to the few rides that are open, and the waits get huge. They should at least lower their ticket prices for the time being!

  10. It’s very busy again today more like packed. I’m making a guess it will be like that rest of the week. We headed home. One thing I noticed people were rude or mad due to all the ride’s being closed. As a season pass holder I was disappointed, but after talking with others who traveled to CA for Disneyland I felt worse for them.
