  1. Ok. So I just checked the weather for the days we are going to be there 13th-15th. It’s going to be 100, 101, and 95, respectively. What the crap??!! We can’t cancel or anything, already bought plane tickets/hotel. I just hope and pray that next Tues-Thur. isn’t crowded. I know there are a lot of fully indoor/partially indoor attractions, so hopefully, that will help. We’re staying at a place that’s 250 yards from the entrance, so maybe during mid-day, we’ll go back and get into the pool. Any suggestions anyone??

  3. Yeah, the good news is that most rides are indoors, so it’s not as bad as other parks. Just get there in the morning to beat some of the heat and the crowds. I like to go to the Tiki Room or Innoventions to take a break if it gets too hot. It’ll be a little cooler in the evening, so maybe come back from the pool around 5-6pm. Just drinks lots of water and it shouldn’t be too bad!

  4. It doesn’t mean those days will be that hot. That’s over a week away. However, if it is hot, keep in mind that Disneyland offers free ice water, You can also purchase misting fans to keep cool, use an umbrella., and as suggested by Robert, enjoy the pool at the hotel during the hottest part of the day.

  6. It hasn’t officially reopened yet, but it might be open tomorrow.

  7. Keep in mind that Disneyland generally uses the ‘slow time’ (times when school is in session) to close rides and get some maintenance taken care of on the rides. Rides like these that are constantly open and running the entire year require a lot of maintenance so this has to get down at some time. Better to get whatever kinks out during the slow time than to have those kinks become worse in the middle of the summer/busy time

  8. Thanks, guys. You’re making me feel a little better about going then. I think we’ll just go back to our hotel pool (walking distance from the entrance) when it gets too hot and just come back a few hours later. Seeing that we’ll be in the park for three days, I don’t think it will be a big deal to take a break like that.

  9. went may 5-6 and the forcast was ghost town and def. was not a ghost town, it was packed and the second day was ok but still long lines woah next time I am just going when I think its best!

  10. We are going to Disneyland on a Grad Nite day, so I’m hoping it won’t be too crowded. We are bracing for the worst though!
