I’ve been on New Year’s Day before and it’s usually pretty manageable during the day. It does get busier in the evening though.
How will Thursday December 18th be?
It’s expected to be crowded. The holiday season crowds are out this week. Get there early!
On December 31, will it be packed in the morning, or only later in the day?
Are we simply delusional thinking New Years Eve will be “OK”?? We certainly don’t mind large crowds at DL but I’ve been reading some absolute horror stories lately about the crowds on NYE.
I think it will be busy but manageable in the morning, but the crowds should pick up in the evening for the fireworks.
I’d be prepared for it to be crowded all day, but I think it will be more manageable in the morning. It usually gets crazy in the evening.
I am thinking to go to Disneyland for 2 days during Christmas. From crowd perspective, is it better to be there Dec 24 and 25, or Dec 25 and 26?
I think December 24 and 25 will be a little better. It’ll still be very busy, but hopefully some people are doing other things on Christmas Eve/Day.
Disneyland on New Year’s Eve is doable, we’ve done it before. Just get there early and plan on it to get very packed at night. California Adventure is always more manageable, so we like to spend some time there if Disneyland gets too crazy.
