  1. Im planning a trip next year in February, does anyone know what its like around Valentines day? I’m going with my brother so not into the lovey dovey stuff.. but is it generally busy around on Valentines day? (its also just before Presidents day weekend I believe)

  2. It’s usually very manageable around then since that’s the off-season. It should be a great time to go.

  3. I would think the week of Labor Day would be busy, but it says it’s supposed to be “ghost town” status. Is that because the 60th will be over? Or everyone took their vacations the previous weekend? Any insights? ?

  4. All schools are back in session by then, so it’s usually very manageable after Labor Day since the summer season is over.

  6. Sept 16th says it will be packed and I read an earlier post about this stating that is the first day of Halloween. I’ve read that the first day of Halloween is actually the 9th. Do you know which one it is? We are going the week of the 12th and deciding which days to go to Disneyland. Also, California Adventure closes at 5 on the 15th.. do you know why??

  7. Yes, Halloween Time starts on September 9 this year, which is a week earlier than usual. Both Fridays should still be busy though since September 16 is the last Friday before the park starts closing early for Mickey’s Halloween Party on the following weeks. I think going mid-week (Tuesday-Wednesday) would be best. There is a private event at California Adventure on September 15.

  8. It says it’s supposed to be packed labor day. Is it unbearable?

  9. It’s usually crowded, but I wouldn’t call it unbearable. Around 30-40min waits is the norm. Get there early!

  10. I’m going this Thursday August 9th and Friday or would Friday and Saturday. Which would be less crowded? Or does it matter right now?
