Crowd Guide

  1. I don’t think the crowds will be too bad, especially if you go in the morning. Fridays have been manageable during the day, but it always gets busier at night when people get off work/school. The Halloween event will make DCA more crowded in the evening though.

  2. I work at Disneyland and let me tell you that the number of people who abuse GAC was absurd. A lot people heard about the cards when it got national attention for the abuse, so a ton of guests have started requesting them just to skip the lines. It’s pretty sad for the folks who really need them, but I think the new system next month will be better.

  3. Headed to Disneyland this Wednesday and Thursday with a 4 year old. Do you think the lines will be long?

  4. Crowds are expected to be light this week, so the lines shouldn’t be long.

  5. Want to go to Disneyland for Christmas. We were there in April during Spring break and we dealt with 50 min wait times will it be worse than that?

  6. It will most likely be worse on the week of Christmas, as that’s when it gets crazy crowded. The week before Christmas is usually packed as well. I think the first two weeks of December would be your best bets for shorter lines, especially if you go on the weekdays.

  7. HI, family are all Disney lovers. Been there hundreds of times. Thanks for this page, its very helpful. Sadly I have a disease where I have trouble walking and its kept me away for 10 years 🙁 My husband from Germany has never been there SO its time and we have to go! QUESTION: I know they are doing away with the card for disabled because of scum who abuse the system. Im going this week, can I still get a card and how do I do it, what do I need to show. I have a disabled car placard but shouldnt that stay in the car? I have Dr’s notes. I dont mind 15 minute waits if I can sit now and then. Dont know if I want the wheelchair, then Im stuck with it all day.. But if it turns out to be crowded Id hope I can get a shorter line. Im going on 10/3/13 anyone know? THANKS 🙂

  8. The new system starts on October 9, so I think you can still get a Guest Assistance Card. You don’t need to show anything. Just go to City Hall and explain your situation and they’ll help you.

  9. My family does not mind the lines or crowds but is it true that some lines can be up to 3 hour wait times? and that the park can get to full capacity by 11 am?

  10. It’s possible that the park will hit capacity on Christmas week. It’s the busiest time of the year, so wait times can be 2+ hours.
