hi guys, do you think the 20th or 27th of October will be really crowded for DIsneyland?? and will I be able to get most of the park done in one day?
Sundays in October are BUSY! If you’re there the whole day from opening to closing, you might be able to get most of the park done, Just use Fastpasses for the long lines.
I had no idea Halloween Time was so popular! Disneyland is a madhouse in October. I remember not too long ago when it was empty during the month and considered the “off-season.” Ah, the good old days.
We made the mistake of going to Disneyland on Thanksgiving week last year. It was incredibly crowded. All the kids are out of school, so that’s when everyone goes to see the holiday stuff. Definitely go before or after Thanksgiving week if you can. It’s not worth going when the park is that packed.
We are headed to Disney today and I’m surprised its not a “Ghost Town”. Anything special we aren’t aware of other than Halloween Time? Thanks.

This website shows Disneyland being busy on Wednesday, October 16th. It says, “Yup, it’s packed.” Does anyone know if this is accurate or why it would be crowded on that day if this is true? It’s mid-work week, not Summer, Spring or Christmas break. Thank you. Posting this here too as I realized I posted it under California Adventure.
I believe some schools are on fall recess next week, so it’s usually busier.
My boyfriend is coming home on Thursday 10/10/13 ( he is in the military ) so we are planning on going to Disneyland on Friday 10/11/13 ( it’s his first time ) How do you think the crowds will be? Planning this whole thing has been so hard! Still have no clue what rides i should do in order! Ha Ha also on a side note I think Disney needs better discounts for our men and women in uniform! There weren’t any for just one day it had to be 3 or 4 day tickets!
It should be busy on Friday, so definitely get there early! I like to go on Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion Holiday first since they usually have long lines.
