Friday should be a little less crowded. I’d go to Disneyland on Friday and DCA on Saturday. Try to get to both parks early if you can. It gets busier in the evening.
I’m planning on buying convention twilight tickets for Disneyland Sunday 10 Veterans Day weekend. We can’t enter the park until after 4 pm. What are the chances the park will fill to capacity? We have to pre purchase the tickets and I’d hate to not be able to go.
My husband and I will be celebrating our first year of marriage on December 22 and we have been saving up to go to Disneyland to celebrate. Any idea if it would be a good time to go in December?
Disneyland doesn’t usually reach capacity on Veterans Day Weekend, so I think you’ll be okay!
Early December is the best time to go, especially on weekdays. The holiday season crowds start to pick up on the week before Christmas. The week of Christmas is beyond crowded. I’d aim for going on the first two weeks of December.
I know the time between Dec 20 to Jan 4 2014, but I really don’t have a choice. Any suggestions on the best day Xmas Eve?, Xmas Day?, New years Day?
I think New Years Day will be best. Christmas week should definitely be avoided if possible. Get there early!
I know Disneyland gets very busy around the holidays and I normally try to avoid going during that time. I went for New Years Eve in 2008 and it was extremely crowded (filled to capacity). I’m not a fan of huge crowds, so I did not really enjoy it. I would love to go for my birthday on Thursday 12/19 or Friday 12/20. Any ideas on which day would be best?
I would go on Thursday since Fridays tend to be busier, especially in the evening when people get off of school/work. Be prepared for it be crowded, but it shouldn’t be as bad as the following week.
