January 6 might still be busy (last day of holiday season), but Tuesday and Wednesday shouldn’t be too bad. Some schools are still on winter break next week, so crowds aren’t expected to get really light until the following week.
Planning on going januarary 6th to disneyland. One day, two parks. How manageable do you think that’ll be? I heard it’s still crowded but most kids go back to school by that day I feel . It was the best day I thought to go since were in Cali jan 1-jan 6. Also the national championship game in Pasadena will be that day. Thoughts?
I’m thinking January 6 will be the best day to go too since a lot of people are back to work/school. Plan on it to still be busy though since annual passholders may go for the last day of the holiday season and LAUSD has the week off. Try to get there early!
Any suggestions for going to Disneyland on the 2nd of January? I would be taking my 16 month old daughter for the first time. We got tickets for Christmas and live out of state, so we wanted to try going while we were still in town. we probably wont be able to go again until August or December next year. What do you think? should we brave it?
I’d go for it, just be sure to get there early. It’s usually still crowded after New Year’s Eve, but not crazy packed like it is around Christmas.

It should be busy today, but I don’t think it’ll be crazy.
For those of you goin to DL this coming week; make sure to get there early, once you are in & if you have a smart phne they have an app that allows you to know how long the lines are for each ride and the FastPass times. Doing a 1day 2 park hopper is manageable but just make sure to get FastPasses and manage your time!
