We went July 28, which is a Thursday with no fast lane. Still rode every ride. I know July seems packed, but there are so many shows, that the majority of the crowd especially around lunch and dinner were all gravitating towards them. I went with my dad and we dedicated the whole day to just strictly getting in lines, and it is WORTH it. Highly recommended park but sadly RIP Dragster

3 coasters are down (rugaru, melinium, Gemini), so lines elsewhere are getting busy

It took me an hour and 40 min to just get to a parking lot. The parking lot was full and they were still letting people in. There was nowhere to park so I went to the Breakers Hotel and found a single spot. Upon leaving we have sat in the car for an hour not moving at all to leave and the line hasn’t budged. Super long lines for everything in the park. It is not an enjoyable experience. This is just money hoarding by Cedar Point. Some people may be okay with waiting hours to park and hours for a 3 minute ride, but it’s not for me. They need a better system. If you have to charge more to get in but limit the amount of patrons. This is about as American as it gets. Make as much money as possible and provide so-so service. It’s gross.

We went Friday Aug 13th at 7:00pm because this website said “Ghost Town”. It was! We were only there 3 hours, but rode everything we wanted. Most rides were 10 minutes wait, except Maverick was 20. Hopped on Steel Vengeance at 9:45 and waited 15 minutes. The stars aligned, and it was a great night!

I’m not sure wether they update the crowd tracker for days, but this year it’s probably pretty inaccurate. Went to Cedar point on Tuesday the third. Morning wasn’t too bad, but as they got later, the lines were enormous. Three hours plus for steel vengeance, couple hours for millennium force, Valravn etc. If you’re driving any distance to come to this park, I know the tracker says Fastlane plus not necessary on some days, that is absolutely not true. If you want to get good rides the park, I would probably always recommend the fast lane or fast lane plus. The three hour wait on steel vengeance for a regular holders, was cut down to about 20 minutes for a flash pass plus holders. Maverick was about 2 1/2 hours, cut down to a half an hour with the flash pass. Very similar situation with most of the other rides. Then you have to account for rides like steel vengeance, maverick, top thrill dragster all going down multiple times throughout the day. When you see those rides up, I recommend going to them as soon as possible. You are more than likely see them down again in the next couple hours. Never saw Valravn or millennium force go down. Raptor went down for multiple times that day. Kept everybody in line playing stupid trivia games, and at one point even Simon says before I walked back down the entrance. I was pissed they wouldn’t be honest with us about how long it was going to take.
