Ghost Town my butt! August 26th was supposed to be a ghost town day and it was filled with people. Lots and lots of kids and teens too. I guess school isn’t important when cedar point is open. Long waits for all the rides except roogaroo, steel vengence was broken. It’s not fair that locals have season passes and those of us who drive 5 hours to come don’t get a good expirence. I absoloutely hate this park, thier greed and lack of interest in providing a good guest expirence. I have given them too many chances and today was it. Never going back again. How about new bussiness plan, limited number of tickets sold daily, no fast lane, no more season passes and have adult only days. Kids are rotten, misbehaved, and Unsupervised.

NOPE. Not yesterday, where this website’s crowd calendar said “Ghost Town.” There were just as many people there as a regular summer day. Lines were long, drink dispensers were out of ice, the “high” of 73 degrees was oh- about EIGHTY FIVE degrees…not a good day.
Avg wait for SteVe was 2 hours, Maverick up and down all day, 90 min avg wait time, then the inept crew at GateKeeper paused the ride at 6pm to add another train. I repeat – at 6pm. The park CLOSES at 8. Should’ve added that train before noon. So annoyed with popular rides being sent out with empty seats as well.

The last two weeks of August are really good bc Ohio is already in school. Longest line was steel Vengeance with 30 mins! But in the morning don’t go to Raptor,Valravn&Gatekeeper the park just opened so ppl will go there first head in the middle by Rougarou & Magnum then swing around the back and head back of front around late afternoon

If you time your visit right, you can avoid lines completely. Go while school is in session in the spring or fall and you won’t have any wait times at all – even for the major rides. So worth it. The weather is just perfect and the lake setting is beautiful. Been going for years during these times.

Memorial day is brutal. A lot busier than this site made me believe. Also, do not get the all-day dining. Not worth it as the restaurants they have you use all have the same foods, and they give you only specific foods and smaller portions. If I didnt have the fast pass plus thus day would’ve been terrible.

Labor Day Monday was a nice weather day and the crowds were manageable. Most of the large coasters were no more than a 30-minute wait with the exception of Steel Vengeance at 1.5 hours. All the rides were open throughout most of the day with some sporadic downtime. Rode every Roller Coaster with the exception of 2 since we didn’t stay the whole day.
