Go in late August. The last week is the best. My son and I go every year at this time. Longest wait time, 10 minutes. A little longer for Candyminimum. Take advantage of the preview day.
The park spells like vomit, all the workers at the food area are touching face then good no washing, I do not recommend going to park, but gnjs may Have just been my experience
I use to go to Hershey Park every year when I was a kid, however I have not been in the last 15 yrs. WELL! I went today Saturday June 26 2021, and I was absolutely disgusted with the amount of people in this park. To a point you could not walk without bumping someone. I was with my 3 yr old and even the kiddie rides had an average of 35 min wait time. Also the traffic just to get in to park your car takes about an hour. So pack some car snacks. Next time we go will be in the middle of the week and see if things are better.
Saturday in April. Overcast and fairly chilly. Most rides were between 30mins to 90 mins wait. Even the “kiddie” rides.
VERY VERY PACKED!! DO NOT GO TODAY!!!! STAY HOME!!
Stay away on summer weekends. Weekdays, Tues Wed, and Thurs the waits are a bit shorter.

It is virtually insanity today, August 3. Holy cow! Should have stayed at home in Ohio and gone to Cedar Point!
About 20-30 minute wait for rides
Hersheypark is very crowded on weekends in the summer. Late August is the best time to go!
