This park is awesome ! We go to this park once a year – come down from Northern CA for a few weekdays in Sept or Oct. THis place really is a ghost town during the weekdays. Walk on all rides! Park is beautiful, spacious, and friendly staff. We stay at the hotel – great buffet breakfast. 3 nights at this hotel is less then 1 night at disney hotel! So much better then disney- where it is crowded and long lines and overpriced!! I come to LA now just for Knotts and skip Disney.

Pretty empty today. Most rides had a 10-15 min wait. Xcelerator was 25 min. Ghost Rider was over an 60 min most of the day but by late afternoon it also was about 25 min. One worker there said it was the shortest he had ever seen the line!

Go during the week! Knott’s is completely empty on weekdays. You can ride anything multiple times in a row if you want!

(REWRITTEN) Montezuma’s Revenge, Sierra Sidewinder, and some of the thrill rides were basically walk-ons. Supreme Scream and Xcelerator weren’t too bad either, about 10-20 minute wait. The only long lines were Silver Bullet and (I presume) Ghostrider’s gonna get some long lines.
FYI, this is my experience from a trip on May 13th. Your mileage may vary.

Can navigate the park, but lines are huge. Half hour for kiddie for kiddie ride minimum. Waited 1.5hours for Jaguar. Anticipating a 2 hour minimum wait for Sidewinder.
